Still tasting the oysters one week later!! They were so good, we ended up getting a second round :). Our waitress was very friendly, and gave good recommendations. Best restaurant we visited during our trip to Alaska. Can't wait to go again! We had a great dinner there tonight! Three different dishes - all of them on point! Easily the best meal we've had on our entire trip to Alaska. I would suggest reservations - we were lucky with a last minute cancellation. Thanks to the whole staff for a great night! Great food! quality and price are matched well.. I had halibut..it was crispy on the outside and perfect in the inside. The cream cheese ice cream was superb.. This restaurant may be the best I've ever been to in the sense of the owner's very apparent understanding of how different ingredients interact to form a complete dish. Not the largest portions, but the food is so flavorful and filling you'll hardly notice. Staff were also super friendly and easy to start a conversation with. I was blown away by the blending of different flavors. I see some poor reviews so let me explain. If you want traditional fare go down the street to the BBQ place. This restaurant is an experience not a feeding bin. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. He guided us thru the menu and kept moving. BTW: It was super busy and took around 30 minutes to get a table. It was worth the wait. I had a cream cheese desert with balsamic vinegar strawberries over it. The sour brought out the sweet. Genius! It tasted like strawberry cheesecake on crack. I got the spicy peanut chicken and my son had the salmon with plum salsa. We both commented that we wish we could kidnap the chef and take him back to Harrisburg, PA. Best meal yet in Alaska!
