This was by far the coolest kayak trip I've ever been on. Our guide was very very knowledgeable of the Glacier and local wildlife. I like that they are safety oriented, and the group was small enough to feel a personal connection with everyone. The kayaks were great and the gear definitely kept us comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend these guys! We loved our trip with Kayak Adventures Worldwide. Ryan was our guide and he was amazing! Super knowledgeable and full of personality & passion. He took us right up in front of the glacier (of course from a safe distance) and we watched the calving and just took in all the beauty and magnitude of this beautiful glacier. We had time for pictures while kayaking and plenty of time for pictures while on the boat ride. Along the way we saw so much wildlife from humpback whales and orcas to harbor seals and otters. It was a once in a lifetime kind of trip. Truly EPIC! Highly recommended! Our tour guide Becca was the best. She was so knowledgeable and easy going. She gave out just the right amount of info for us to process at a time. I loved the pace of the trip - we kayaked leisurely around the shoreline to see the plant and sea life. Then we pushed faster to get to the beach for a break. We walked the beach and looked for crabs and eels and learned a ton about the sea life. The views were stunning and the people we joined up with were lovely and chill and we made new friends. I highly recommend this tour group. Guides are friendly. They go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your trip to Seward. I would definitely recommend bringing or renting rain gear. We saw a seal and an eagle. Great for people with no experience. I would suggest going with a group of a similar experience level. The people here are so friendly! We loved our half-day trip, and our guide was awesome. And, you get chips to donate to a charity of your choice at the end. I would definitely go again.
