We thought the cabins were great. Very clean, obviously they have been recently updated because everything looked brand new. There was a microwave and fridge in the room which came in handy. We liked the location it wasn't too far from town but located in a quiet area. We explored the exit glacier area and it was in a location for that as well. They have a paid wash and dryer area for use. Just bring some change if you plan to use it. There wasn't a TV in the room, but they do have WiFi. We got rained in for a little bit so we just watched a movie on our tablet. Highly recommend this place. The price was very reasonable. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was by far our favorite place to stay, and actually ended up being the cheapest too! The cabin was perfectly sized- enough room to stretch your legs but still small and cozy. There was a microwave and fridge, so we could save our leftovers from the delicious food in downtown Seward. The electric heaters worked great and we were never cold. The location was perfect, far enough away from town to be quiet, but still only 15 minutes away from all the planned excursions and dining. Checking in and out was incredibly simple. I really can't say enough about how much we loved this place. If we could do it all over we would likely spend more time in Seward and less time in Denali just because of these accommodations. We rented one of the large cabins with its own bathroom. Was very nice and clean. Had a little difficulty when we first arrived trying to get in because there is no one on site and if you did not provide a mobile phone number when you booked you will not get the access code. Or if your cell service is sketchy or non-existent you are screwed. My husband and I visited Seward on our honeymoon and we LOVED these cabins. They are lovely inside and we had everything we needed. When we first arrived we couldn't get hot water and the staff fixed it right away. Anne and the rest of the staff at Abode Well were nice to chat with and very helpful. We would love to come back to this beautiful spot and it's close to the Resurrection River! Amazing place to stay, the cabins are charming and very comfortable. The staff are spectacular, spend time by the fire with Cabin Ann, soak in some wonderful stories :) She also has a wealth of information and can help you plan your trip in Seward or any Alaskan destination you are headed to next.
