What a wonderful place to stay. One of the few B&Bs that still serve breakfast (sourdough pancakes and bacon). One day we missed breakfast due to a fishing charter, and a continental breakfast was in the fridge by 5 am. This is a can't miss experience. Richard sent us on a side trip to a salmon weir and we came back with 6 red salmon without a fishing pole. I will return and not even search for other accommodations. On the drive we decided it would be nice to have a place to stay so we searched for B&Bs in Seward and found Sourdough Sunrise and we struck gold! Impeccable craftsmanship and beautiful setting. We enjoyed our little getaway and look forward to returning for the outstanding hospitality and sourdough pancakes with our new friends!! Very well managed and professional! The owners are very easy to get in touch with and gladly share their adventures in Alaska with you as they make you homemade sourdough pancakes every morning from a starter recipe that's 100 years old. Rooms are beautiful, clean and have good views. The owners built the B&B and did all the woodworking in the it. We really enjoyed are stay here and felt very at home. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended. The owners are absolutely wonderful, the rooms are beautiful and clean. I couldn't have chosen a better bed and breakfast. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Seward.
