The owner of this place is a saint. I went backpacking on the Caines trail and somehow, still not sure how this happened, left my huge backpacking backpack in the parking lot at the trail head. My helpful boyfriend saw that this hotel was close so he called and told them the story and the owner jumped in her van and drove to the trail head and found it! I am still blown away that perfect strangers would do that for us, and we've never even stayed at their hotel before! But we will now for sure every, single time we go to Seward and you should too! Secluded cabins beautiful scenery great breakfast nice beach front view of resurrection bay. Excellent small boat wildlife and glacier tour through Kenai Fjords National Park. Boat fits 16 people max so you have a much more personal experience than the ocean-going buses seating 150-200 that are more common for these tours. Loved it. Beautiful location and great fishing Went through them for a small boat wildlife and glacier tour. AMAZING! More personal than other tour boats that are filled with tons of people. Friendly. Offer coffee and hot tea, lunch, and snacks on the tour. All included. It's worth it. You will not be disappointed.
