We just got back from a 2 week trip in Alaska and Bell in the Woods was by far our favorite place we stayed! The home is adorable. The room we stayed in was super comfortable and the bed was everything perfect. They have beautiful trees & plants all around the house with an herb garden and a great patio area for relaxing after a long day of adventure. But what really made this place super special was Brooke and her staff. They are the friendliest people with so much passion and love to share with all who come through their home. Plus, they serve you amazing home cooked breakfast that is sure to fill your belly before venturing out for the day. We can't wait to get back and stay with them next time we are in Seward, AK! Amazing Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are very clean and quiet and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They made our trip much better by sharing local places and hiking trails we could check out and even offered to loan us gear for the hikes. There is even Bear Spray available if you wish to have some. The food is also amazing. I have no idea how I am going to be able to go back to regular breakfasts after eating what they serve there. They also allow you to pick the meal time and though the earliest is at 7:00am, they were able to accommodate an earlier meal time for us a had an early morning outing schedule. If you are ever staying in the Seward area, this is the place to be. Best place to stay in Seward! Brooke and Nick are such gracious hosts, and went out of their way to make sure our time in Seward was wonderful. The suite we stayed in could not have been more cute! Just a short drive outside of Seward (10 minutes tops), it's a great home base for any adventures in the Seward area. The 3 course breakfast was top-notch and Brooke even accommodated two extra members of our family who weren't staying at the same place. We really appreciated it! We'll be back for sure next time we're in the area! The owners were very hospitable. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Each morning our breakfasts were served with grace. Nick, Brooke and their daughter made us feel special and very much welcomed. It was hard to move on to our next stay after such warmth and comfort. It was the highlight of our trip. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Bell in the Woods! The rooms are immaculate, the furnishings are modern, and they are decorated with a local flair. The hosts have thought of everything, soft or firm pillows, your choice! The bed was a dream to sleep on, I really need to get one of those. The breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit and warm home baked pastries were so delicious. The area surrounding Seward is so beautiful, the town is also a neat place to browse around. I would also recommend visiting The Cookery for dinner, such a creative chef, and astounding food. We consistently have a difficult time motivating ourselves to leave the B&B and head back to reality, but very much look forward to future visits. Thank you!
