My girlfriend and I had an amazing and relaxing stay at the Resurrection Lodge on the Bay. The owners Kendall and Michelle go out of their way to ensure every one of their guests are having a great Alaskan vacation. The rooms are quiet, clean, comfortable, and cozy. My girlfriend and I have minimal knowledge of fishing and Kendall walked us through a lot of the basics. We ended up hitting our limit on salmon right off the shoreline. The views of Resurrection Bay from the kitchen/lodge are worth the price alone regardless of the weather. We will definitely be staying here again! You can stop searching for a place to stay in Seward, AK! This lodge has it all, including the most incredible view on Resurrection Bay. The owners put 150% into this business and it shows. You will feel like a guest in their home as they make you breakfast, cookies, and all day coffee/ tea in the main room. You will also have privacy in your immaculately clean room, with comfortable beds and tons of windows (with darkening shades). Owners are very knowledgeable of the area and all it has to offer (which is a lot). Shuttle service available upon request and for a great rate. I am counting the days until I can stay here again and will never forget this place. Thank you, Kendall and Michelle, for your hospitality and kindness! Hope to stay again soon. I highly recommend this place. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. AMAZING views from the breakfast & coffee area and some of the rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable. Walking distance to breathtaking hikes, kayaking, fishing, etc. Breakfast is provided and perfect before an active day! I would recommend having a car but it doesn't seem to be necessary as they have transport available too. Our stay here made our trip even better and I would book here again, you feel at home while on vacation. Wonderful location, warm and cozy rooms, Bay view rooms have the best view. Bathrooms can be a bit larger. The hosts are wonderful and you can book all your activities through them. Great value for money. Remember to visit between June and August only. Without a doubt the most incredible place I have ever stayed at. Breathtaking views from the deck. Very clean and comfortable room with a stellar view! Unmatched hospitality, homemade breakfast and cookies. The owners are unbelievably accommodating. There is absolutely nothing I disliked about staying here.
