This place feels like you're in the hood...way too damn noisy, fitted sheet was torn, 2 of our towels were dirty...I reserved a king room and I think the bed was a twin, it was definitely not a king...absolutely absurd, rude front desk attendant that didn't seem like she knew what she was doing...if I could give it 0 stars I would. I DO NOT recommend staying here We ate here for dinner because we didn't want to walk to the downtown area. The service was extremely slow, but the food was fine. We ordered an extra side of pita bread for our hummus and it took over 10 minutes to just get bread. The restaurant wasn't even busy. There was a guy working there that refilled our water, but if we asked him any questions he wouldn't answer them and had to find someone else. On the bright side, we have severe food allergies and the waitress was helpful and checked to make sure we didn't get any of our allergens. I would eat here again, but I would make sure to have plenty of time to eat and be prepared to pay a fortune. Great place. Not the Hilton but very good for this part of Alaska. Staff is the best!? Very convenient location if you are going for a one-day wild animal and glacier cruise trip. Pathetic, not getting hot water, and got the reply "until check out we will not have it", as if they are indirectly telling to move( and that is after 1st night, we are going to stay for another 2 nights)after asking front desk. Then second time we call them got the reply they don't know when it will come. How long it is taking to bring hot water in room!!!
