A great place to stay for military members and their guests. The Seward Resort has changed over the decades from Quonset huts to Townhouses. While some buildings never changed most of the property has been modernized. The fishing lottery is no longer available, but there are charter boats running. The Seward Resort has a view of the mountains, but the property is mostly covered by tall trees. The only way you don't get a peaceful night's sleep here is if your neighbors get rowdy. We love this place. Always clean. Great playground and wash rooms. Only thing we could complain about is the awful flashing lights from the fire alarms! We stay here a lot and they wake me up every time. If the bathroom door isn't closed the light bounces off the mirror. But that is my only complaint. Everything else is great. The Seward Military Resort. The rooms were simple and clean. Last time I was here was 2015. The front desk was helpful in giving information about the interesting cars to go. Depending on the season. The gift shop was having their end of the season sale so it was a good time to purchase items. A good family resort. Stayed in one of the town houses with my wife, parents, and sister. It was nice and a good size, but the beds and sleeper sofa were hideously uncomfortable. We all ended up wishing we'd brought our own pillows... And maybe our air mattresses. The food at the on-site restaurant was priced well, but it was typical E club food. Didn't really make use of the various fishing-related amenities, but appreciated the discount tickets available at the front desk for local attractions. The price seemed really reasonable. That was the best part. The resort is a stunning representation of what a fun time is. It can only be described as the eighth wonder of the world. The staff was so friendly. And the cafe/grill is amazing. Overall 5 stars
