I was visiting Seward, AK from Charlotte, NC and went to this store to pick up some new hiking gear and check out the selection. The store has a great selection, but one of the worst trained staff I have ever experienced. They (seemed like the owner) followed me around the entire store and asked each time, if I looked at something, if i wanted to try it on. I eyed or looked at several jackets and each time employees hounded me to try it on. When I did try on a couple items, they asked if they should go ahead and put it on the counter to purchase, as if i were going to buy it. My wife and I spent several minutes looking in the store and would have made purchases, but their staff's lack of customer training and obnoxious way of following customers around the entire store forced us to leave. Store has a great selection and was reasonably priced, but the employees lack people skills. You can show up unprepared and get what you need for outdoor activities here Am get evrtyng need Small and $$$$
