Highly recommend. Silver Derby has become our go-to spot when staying in the Seward area. The campground is clean and well maintained. The manager remembers us year after year and stops to chat. The close beach access is also nice for evening walks with the dogs. Great place, with amazing tent camp sites. One of the few campgrounds that don't close there gates at night, preventing you from coming back to your tent after some salmon fishing or fireworks on the 4th of July. The manager screamed at my friends and I immediately upon arriving for going the wrong direction down a looting marked one way street. After replying "we are sorry we will turn around" the manager yelled "you're not sorry". After the absolutely hostile customer service we received no apology and had to pay $35 a night. On top of that the site was within sight of a sewer treatment plant and reeked non stop. Will never stay there again and would never recommend. No utility. Dump and refill in the city. Groud is not even for RV sites. Beautiful and clean campground, and management is present to help and answer questions.
